I had a lovely stay! The location is just perfect for exploring the city-right in the heart of everything. The rooftop heated pool was a highlight; it was so refreshing after a day of meetings! The staff were super friendly and really made me feel at home.
The air conditioning was quite noisy and made it hard to get a good night's sleep. housekeeping could've been a bit more thorough; there were some minor cleanliness issues in the room. it was a nice experience, but there's room for improvement!

Homely and popular hotel for a couple of nights, highly recommended. Spotlessly clean place & hospitable staff with booking and bedding arrangements. Great value for money breakfast, yummy food, well priced.

Great way to end our city break. Modern place, good for a city break. Private parking under ground provided. Friendly check-in.

Our short stay at Rydges Melbourne had its ups and downs. The staff were friendly, and the location is fantastic, right across from Chinatown and close to many landmarks. our room felt a bit outdated, with chipped bathroom enamel and noisy air conditioning. The swimming pool was a lovely relaxation option, though. while it has potential, a few improvements are definitely needed.

The hotel was romantic and reasonably clean with very professional and all professional staff at the front reception desk. We had a gorgeous and hot breakfast with bacon and eggs, pancakes, juices. The bed was comfortable and all in all the room was great value. The location was best possible, close to Comedy Theatre. This property was in a very very nice area very close to the main shopping district, Chinatown, Florentinos and many other iconic restaurants, and theaters and CBD.

I had a blast ringing in the New Year at this hotel! The location is spot on, right near the theatre and some great shopping spots. The breakfast spread was solid-lots of yummy options to kick-start the day. Plus, the staff were super friendly and made the whole experience feel even better.
But wow, the room had some design flaws that didn’t make sense! The shower flooded the bathroom and there just weren’t enough towel racks. the air conditioner was off-the-charts noisy. Really distracting when you’re just trying to relax.

Hello, i was very happy with our room and its facilitys. I did think that the bed was too soft and that the lounge and chair although welcome, could have been a little more stylish. Thankyou

Beds were comfortable. Good area.
The room heater was very noisy. The sheets on the single beds were not tucked in securely and came away easily. Would have liked breakfast included in our deal for the price.

The staff were helpful and the location was excellent. It was very handy to Her Majesty's Theatre, which was the purpose of our trip to Melbourne. It was also very close to transport and the main shopping presinct.
It was slightly noisy, but what else should you expect when you are in the centre of a major city.

perfect spot for exploring parks and local eateries
Staying here was fantastic, as the staff were lovely and I was right across the street from the beautiful Federation Square. It's just a short stroll to the Royal Botanic Gardens, made my city exploration so much easier and more enjoyable.

Close to theatre's and being able to leave baggage in store room.
Dirty finger prints all over the room doors!! And then again inside on the room walls. Could be presented cleaner please!!

The door inside the bathroom was very dirty and my husband needed to wipe it with a towel.
